MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- The COVID-19 coronavirus infection has become the main cause of death of 58,822 Russians in October, and is considered as a main cause of death in 9,912 more cases where additional medical investigations are necessary, as seen by PRIME late on December 3 in data of the Federal State Statistics Service.
The coronavirus also caused fatal complications of other diseases for 1,141 people, and in 5,018 deaths the COVID-19 was a concurrent disease that had no impact on the cause of death.
